On the 26th Clutch released a single called "The Drifter Returns" and it is AMAZING! It's the first song that's been released officially off the new album (coming out early 2027) A few people do not like it but I think it's great, a lot of people say "it's different than usual, it's not sticking out to me." AND THATS WHAT THEY SAY EVERYTIME THEY RELEASE A NEW ALBUM! How do you think people felt when Jam room and The Elephant Riders came out? They said they didn't like the sound cause "it wasnt like the usual clutch sound" they're known for every album sounding different. Anyways, back onto the song. In MY opinion I think it's great, I like the sound and it's catchy even if he repeats himself. Yes, someone complained about that. I am extremely excited for the album and I am excited to see if they play any new songs at my show. And the mantis looks awesome, I did kind of worry it was AI at first since they have used AI before... moving on. They did also post TWO new photos taken by Dan Winters and it's giving off like, I dunno Peaky Blinders? I have zero clue what peaky blinders is, I just heard someone say that and it looked accurate I guess. But my dad did say old gangsters/pimps, right... I thought it was awesome and Neil looked very cool for lack of a better term. Thank you for joining me on my rant, goodbye. Abandon all ye faithful.
CD STORY - CLUTCH SELF TITLED

This is Clutch's 1995 Self Tiled album, in MY opinion this is their best album, but I like all the albums. I got this album off ebay because sadly no music store near me holds this but that's okay. This album is the album that got me into clutch, the song Tight Like That is the song that got me into them, and that song is rarely mentioned but its what sent me into my crazy obsession with clutch. They hardly play it and when they do it's an acoustic version, which... I prefer the non-acoustic version. I got this CD for christmas '25 and it felt like i started ascending when it entered my hands... Everything about this album from artwork to... I don't know, everything about it is awesome. The lyrics are great, sounds great and is known as one of "The Stoner Rock Albums." '95 was a great year for Clutch aswell, some people were mad that they started leaving their hardcore/just a heavier overall sound and had a bit more groove to it, wasn't really straight foward anymore. ALTHOUGH the Clutch shows were IMMACULATE this year, Neil could still hit the vocals (no offense) and the crowds were crazy. They were doing shows with Marilyn Manson, Sepultura, Fear Factory and many more big name bands, Clutch isn't Marilyn Manson level, which I'm kind of glad, Clutch has a cool group of loyal fans. It was 1996 when they started picking set lists by their names in alphabetical order so around this time they were still fighting over setlists, lol. Anyways that's all for this album.
